The pretty ‘Painted Ladies’

My second stop on the tourist trail was Alamo Square to see the famous ‘Painted Ladies’, a row of grand victorian houses all painted in different colours that sit in front of a magnificent city backdrop. Alamo Square park is a green space on the top of a hill which allows you the space and height to get the perfect shot of ‘the Ladies’. Not surprisingly this is often referred to as ‘postcard row’.
